Ganging up on Mitt?

If true, the Time story by Ana Marie Cox might explain why Mitt Romney's camapign has struggled: Everyone else hates his guts.

Mitt seemed to have all the tools: Well-connected, deep pockets, a smooth style, lots of business experience, and well-established ground games in Iowa and New Hampshire. But what Ana Marie alleges is open collusion between the entire field keep him from becoming the party standard bearer. The Money Quote: 'We have to stop him."

The Republican candidates hate Mitt. The"movement conservatives" hate McCain.

The GOP in disarray indeed.

The other RINOs running for office hate Mitt. No surprise he has money to spend on his campaign and they do not.

Us "movement" conservatives don't care for McCain, as many of us view him as mostly a RINO, except that he is "pro-life", which isn't that important to some of us anyway. Tax relief, financial reform, secure borders and a non-agressive foreign policy are more important. McCain has either waivered or not supported all of the above.

The most important thing is fixing our economy, and a big step in that would be to quickly draw down this useless & expensive war.

The only guy on the Republican side to take a firm stand on ending that silliness and not doing the same thing over and over is Ron Paul. So, I'll go to the machine tomorrow, touch the square for Dr. Paul and hope the Diebold machine retains same and that is is fairly transmitted. Heaven only knows what I will do in November.
